Security Officer Jobs in Chevy Chase, MD at Assured Protection Consultants, Inc.
Must have a valid Maryland Driver’s License with no more than 2 points
Must be able to drive a vehicle safely
Must be 21 years of age or older
Must be able to read and write the English language
This position will require you to walk or stand, enter and exit the vehicle frequently to check tenant spaces and suspicious activity time
Must be able to wear a uniform to include button down shirts, ties, blazers and belts
Must be physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs
Must have a friendly disposition and able to speak with people
Must be a punctual and responsible person who shows up and works well with others
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
Must have proper hygiene and a professional appearance
No face, neck, or hand tattoos
Some of the duties of a Foot Patrol Officer: (this is not a fill list)
Provide a presence and safety measure to an exterior perimeter of a shopping center
Be a vigilant person and able to intervene when security or life safety issues occur
Work in ever changing environments
Escort persons when necessary
Report issues to proper authorities
Conduct visual inspections of the property and secure all of the grounds
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.10 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
