Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires keen observation skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in preventing loss and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Duties
Monitor premises through surveillance systems, including CCTV, to detect suspicious activities or breaches of security.
Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure safety and security compliance.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and prevent loss or damage.
Assist in conflict management situations by de-escalating tensions and ensuring a peaceful resolution.
Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing support during investigations or emergencies.
Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations until medical personnel arrive.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.
Proven experience in security roles, law enforcement, or military service is advantageous.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
Excellent conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team while maintaining professionalism at all times.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential threats or issues.

Pay: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour
