Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees, customers, and visitors. Your primary duties will include surveillance, conflict management, and loss prevention.
Duties:
– Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals
– Monitor CCTV cameras and respond to any suspicious activities or incidents
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Respond promptly to alarms or calls for assistance and take appropriate action
– Conduct investigations into security breaches or incidents and prepare detailed reports
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or damages
– Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including incident reports and shift logs
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred
– Strong surveillance skills with the ability to identify potential threats or risks
– Excellent conflict management and problem-solving abilities
– CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and other security equipment
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
– High level of integrity and professionalism

Pay: $21.06 – $23.65 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
