Howdens are looking for Security Officers to join us at our Howden manufacturing site, based in East Yorkshire.

The role is a nights position on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and will provide high visibility, static and mobile guarding across the site. You will ensure the site is always fully protected and secure, and that no unauthorised personnel gain entry to site, or are in restricted areas.
What will I be doing as a Security Officer?
– Managing incoming and outgoing vehicles and deliveries to the site by use of the site booking system.
– Monitoring safety alarms including fire monitors and sprinklers and boiler alarms
– Monitoring the Site CCTV system and providing imagery when required
– Patrolling the site
– Taking main switchboard out of hours enquires
– Using a variety of
communication
method to deal with range of people, internally and externally
– Carry out site inductions for visitors to site
What do I need to qualify for this role?
– A full clean driving licence
– Experience in the manned Guarding industry is preferred
– An understanding of CCTV systems operation is preferred
– Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft packages
