Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, with an emphasis on surveillance, loss prevention, and effective conflict management. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of the premises through constant monitoring and adherence to established protocols.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Check driver’s in and out of the plant.
Responsible to weighing in the Cattle trucks.
Maintain Product Protection Rounds.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure safety and security compliance.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining order and providing assistance to visitors as needed.
Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as required in emergency situations.
Qualifications
Familiarity with surveillance systems and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential security risks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
A valid driver’s license may be required based on job location and responsibilities.
