We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol designated areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems and other security equipment.
Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage.
Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during investigations or emergencies.
Manage conflicts effectively through de-escalation techniques and conflict management skills.
Ensure compliance with all security policies and procedures.
Experience
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with surveillance systems (CCTV) and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
A military background or relevant certifications can enhance candidacy.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.

Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
