Full Job Description
Position Description:
Responsible for providing for the safety and security of guests, employees, and property and company assets.
Job Functions
Circulate through hotel, casino, and outdoor areas looking for possible disturbances, illegal activity, or safety hazards and take appropriate action.
Assist with slot / table games drops: observe and provide security for count crew performing slot / table games drop and escort to and from Count Room for asset protection
Perform cards and dice inspections, cancellations and destructions
Patrol will require circulating on foot, and/or Company supplied vehicle.
Respond to emergencies in accordance with all applicable laws and company and departmental policies and procedures.
Responsible for the security of all keys.
Provide crowd control, direct traffic as per internal controls and state regulations.
Complete requisite paperwork related to shift activities.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of a normal shift.
Physical demands include but not limited to bending, squatting, kneeling to check slot machines and slot machine doors. Pushing, pulling and lifting of items over 50 lbs.
Prior experience in casino security (or similar field) preferred.
Required to possess a valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable to the Company and/or its insurers.
Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 per hour
