Job Summary:

A multiple role position to include security, front desk, and housekeeping. Responsible for the safety and security of the company’s assets, employees, guests, and visitors. The ability to perform all front desk attendant functions including checking guests in and out and creating or editing reservations. Performs skilled and routine maintenance, grounds, and housekeeping tasks necessary to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of the facility and to assist late arrival guests. This position reports to the General Manager. This is a live on-site position which requires a self-contained RV.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This is a live on-site position which requires a self-contained RV.
Oversee assigned security units on the property. Assist in updating, establishing, and ensuring effective policies and procedures.
Observe and report potential or real-time health, security and/or safety breaches. Escalate to emergency services and contact MOD as needed.
This is an unarmed position, and the focus is on preventing and addressing security risks without using firearms or other deadly weapons.
Perform regular property inspections throughout the shift.
Pull trash from trash receptacles and replace trash bags as needed. Clear trash from tables and floors/grounds.
Move dirty linens and garbage to assigned area.
Stock linen closets with clean linen as needed.
Perform laundry duties as assigned and/or as needed.
Assist guests with after-hours check-ins, way finding, guest room supplies, and guest room mechanical functions.
Performs such other related duties as directed or required.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

Effective communication skills. Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people; ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to solve problems. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to recognize when a problem has occurred and communicate it to management and/or emergency services.
Ability to work late night shifts, alone and without supervision.
Computer knowledge (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with property management systems required.
High School Diploma/G.E.D. equivalent required; bachelor’s degree preferred
Previous security and front desk experience strongly preferred.
CPR/First Aid training preferred

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties
Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.

EQUIPMENT USED

Company vehicles, housekeeping carts, golf carts or slow speed vehicles, variety of cleaning chemicals and supplies, vacuum cleaner, guest linens, laundry bags.
Communications systems such as cell phones, land line, and handheld radios.
Cleaning Supplies (including detergents, chemicals, vacuums, mops, brooms, scourers, hand towels, etc.).
Property management systems.
Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) used: goggles and gloves.
