Job Summary:
Are you an experienced and reliable Security Officer looking for a new and exciting experience? River City Security & Investigations is currently seeking skilled unarmed security officers for overtime part time work on weekends.
Responsibilities include:
– Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure the safety and security of the premises
– Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons
– Conduct regular inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
– Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of any security-related incidents
– Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, and provide assistance and guidance when needed
– Maintain a high level of professionalism at all times
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies in the event of an emergency or criminal activity
– Conduct regular checks of equipment, such as CCTV cameras, to ensure proper functioning
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in security-related fields is a plus
– Two years’ proven experience as an unarmed security officer
– Must be reliable and able to work independently with minimal supervision
– Strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
– Knowledge of CPR, first aid, and other emergency response procedures
– Strong attention to detail and observational skills
– Understanding of loss prevention techniques and practices
– Ability to stand or walk for long periods
– Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
