Security Officer – Armed Mobile Patrol (Full-time – 2nd Shift) Jobs in Charlotte, NC at Harrisburg Security, Inc.
Inter-Con Security is seeking motivated, experienced professionals to take on the critical role of Armed Security Supervisor. This leadership position is an excellent opportunity to guide and support an elite team of armed security officers responsible for protecting some of our nation’s most sensitive assets, facilities, and diplomatic personnel.
As an Armed Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring that officers maintain high standards of professionalism, safety, and mission readiness across multiple secured sites. You will be instrumental in coordinating field operations, resolving incidents, training personnel, and serving as the liaison between officers and management.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of armed officers at designated locations
Ensure compliance with all post orders, procedures, and regulations
Provide leadership during emergency or high-stress situations
Conduct regular inspections of personnel, uniforms, and equipment
Coordinate scheduling and coverage to maintain 24/7 site security
Act as the primary contact for client representatives and Inter-Con leadership
Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to new officers
Complete incident reports and escalate critical information in real-time
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Fluent in both written and spoken English
Valid U.S. driver’s license
Valid pistol permit
Valid NC Armed Guard Card (or applicable state license)
Experience (one of the following required):
3 years active-duty military (E-4 or higher with Honorable Discharge)
OR Minimum of 3 years law enforcement or military police experience
OR Minimum of 3 years verified armed security officer experience
Prior 5 year of supervisory experience preferred
