Job Summary
This armed security role reports to the Manager of a high-profile site and involves various security duties, including observing and reporting activities, ensuring safety, and responding to emergencies with appropriate escalation of force. You will also control access, patrol the site, and assist in maintaining order.
Essential Functions
Control access to the site, preclude unauthorized entry, and assist visitors.
Respond to emergencies and maintain proficiency with security equipment and weapons.
Provide courteous interactions to promote a positive image.
Monitor entrances/exits, control vehicle and pedestrian movement, and operate security devices.
Patrol the site on foot or vehicle, check for hazards, and inspect facilities.
Secure evidence or scenes of incidents and prepare logs/reports.
Report suspicious activities and respond to various incidents following established procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
U.S. Citizenship preferred.
At least 21 years old.
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Minimum of 2 years of armed security/law enforcement experience or honorable service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
