Job Overview

We are currently hiring hospital security professionals in Asheville, NC. Shifts include various daytime and overnight options. This role involves conducting unarmed foot and vehicle patrols within a hospital environment, controlling access, monitoring CCTV and alarm systems, and reporting incidents. Due to the safety-sensitive nature, candidates must pass drug screenings and may need TB tests and vaccinations.

Responsibilities

Perform security patrols and document observations

Assist with de-escalation and restraining as necessary

Transport patients and assist with evacuations

Respond to emergencies and monitor entrances/exits

Investigate incidents and prepare reports

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Valid driver’s license (if driving)

At least 2 years of relevant experience

Must be 18+ years old

Effective communication and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

Military or law enforcement experience

Education in law enforcement or criminal justice

Active military service
