About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
Access Control: Greet visitors and clients, ensure secure property access, and provide directions to the destination when asked.
Patrol Duties: Conduct regular patrols/tours throughout the property, including common areas and parking lots, to deter and detect any suspicious activities. (Note: Duties may change)
Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents. Provide first aid and support until emergency services arrive on the scene.
Customer Service: Deliver outstanding customer service to customers, visitors, vendors and clients, enhancing their overall experience.
Incident Reporting: Accurately document and report all incidents to Capstone Security, including observations, activities, and unusual occurrences. Maintain detailed records of daily operations.
Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients and local law enforcement to ensure effective communication and coordination in security efforts.
Compliance: Strictly adhere to all security protocols, property regulations, and legal requirements, ensuring compliance with relevant security policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Valid California Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
Reliable transportation.
Certifications:
BSIS Guard card (BSIS required certifications)
First Aid & CPR Certification (preferred).
Fire Safety & Response (preferred).
Experience:
Previous experience in law enforcement or the military is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
Exceptional customer service skills with a solid ability to engage positively with employees, visitors, and clients.
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Capability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. Must be capable of handling potentially stressful situations and performing physical tasks related to the position.
