Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, personnel, and assets. This role requires a proactive approach to loss prevention and conflict management, as well as the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The Armed Guard will utilize surveillance equipment and maintain a strong presence to deter potential threats.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol designated areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular inspections of property, equipment, and personnel to identify potential security risks.
Utilize CCTV and other surveillance tools to monitor activities within the premises.
Enforce company policies and procedures regarding security measures.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed during incidents or investigations.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
Experience
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and conflict management strategies is essential.
Certification in CPR and first aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation, is a plus.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and law enforcement personnel.

Qualifications
Must possess a valid armed security guard license
Proficiency in conflict management and de-escalation techniques
First Aid and CPR certification required
Experience in law enforcement or military preferred
Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance practices

Strong communication skills essential
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
Physical fitness and ability to stand for long periods
Must have own registered firearm
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour
Schedule:
8 hour shift
