Job Title:Overnight Bike Patrol Security Officer
Location:Tempe, AZ
Pay Rate:$20.50 per hour
Schedule:10-hour shifts, weekends required, from8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable and vigilant Overnight Bike Patrol Security Officer to join our team in Tempe, AZ. As a Bike Patrol Security Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling designated areas, ensuring the safety and security of the premises, and deterring unauthorized activity.
Responsibilities:
Patrol designated areas on a 2-wheeled bicycle, maintaining visibility and presence throughout the shift.
Monitor surveillance equipment and security alarms for signs of suspicious activity.
Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action as necessary.
Conduct thorough and accurate incident reports, documenting any observed violations or incidents.
Provide assistance to visitors, employees, and residents as needed, including escorting individuals to their destinations.
Enforce property rules and regulations in a professional and courteous manner.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
Perform routine checks of equipment and report any malfunctions or damage.
Maintain a high level of alertness and situational awareness at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must possess a valid Arizona Guard Card.
Ability to ride and maneuver a 2-wheeled bicycle with proficiency.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
Physical fitness and ability to perform duties requiring prolonged standing, walking, and cycling.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts and weekends as required.
Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
