Security Officer – College Campus Jobs in Oakland, CA at Barbier Security Group
THIS POSITION REQUIRES AN ACTIVE EXPOSED FIREARM PERMIT! This position is an outside WALKING POST. Guards are expected to be standing/walking for the entirety of the shift.
Responsibilities:
– Provide armed security services to protect personnel and property
– Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
– Monitor surveillance cameras and respond to any suspicious activity
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Respond to alarms and emergency situations in a timely manner
– Maintain accurate incident reports and documentation
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies as needed
Qualifications:
– Must possess a valid armed guard certificate/license
– Strong conflict management skills to handle potentially volatile situations
– Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
– Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
Please note that this position requires the candidate to be armed. Only applicants with a valid armed guard certificate/license will be considered.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 30 per week
