We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance of premises.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary.
Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure safety compliance.
Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential security risks and implementing appropriate measures.
Document incidents, prepare reports, and maintain accurate records of daily activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary and provide support during investigations.
Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
Experience
Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not required.
Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention strategies is a plus.
Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert and focused for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective reporting and interaction with others.
A background in military service or training may be beneficial for certain roles within our security team.
