REQUIREMENTS
Per Civil Service this position will be filled by a probationary appointment. You must be on the Eligible Civil Service list to apply. Civil Service minimum requirements: A) Five (5) years in Police and Military or B) Five (5) or more years in Security Management position, preferably school district. Special Requirement: Valid New York State Security Guard Registration. Possess or be eligible for New York State Certification, as a Security Guard Instructor (preferred).
DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
Work collaboratively with the Director of Security to oversee all aspects of providing and ensuring safety of all students, staff, visitors and property
Coordinate operations, procedures, and policies with respect to the overall security of the school district
Confer and coordinate with district Administrators, law enforcement, and other local agencies on safety and security as needed
