Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our premises, employees, and visitors. This is a critical role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism. Duties: – Conduct regular patrols of the premises to maintain a secure environment – Monitor CCTV cameras and respond promptly to any suspicious activities or incidents – Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering or exiting the premises – Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances – Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and employees with inquiries or concerns – Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary – Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records – Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property – Administer first aid or CPR in emergency situations until medical professionals arrive – Manage conflicts or disputes in a calm and professional manner Experience: – Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or security preferred – Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques – Possess a valid CPR and First Aid certificate – Strong knowledge of security procedures and protocols – Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal – Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations effectively We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications.
