The King County Facilities Management Division (FMD) is looking to hire experienced professionalSecurity Officers to join their security team. The Security Management team provides physical building security, building access and control, operates an emergency dispatch center, and manages lost and found processes.

King County FMD Security is a 24-hour operation, and presence may be required at any King County facility.
Security officers will be required to work a varied schedule including 8-hour and/or 10-hour shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Security officers are required to report to a variety of locations throughout King County for business and training needs.
This recruitment will also be used to create a list of competitive candidates to fill future vacant positions as they become available.
Successful candidates must be able to pass a fingerprint-based background check, reference checks, and a pre-employment physical exam.
