Job Summary
DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Tucson Airport is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
This position will require Criminal Background Screening and Pre-employment drug testing.
This is an OVERNIGHT POSITION, MIDNIGHT TO 5:00AM
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or unusual activity.
Respond promptly to alarms (including car alarms), incidents, and emergencies while following established protocols.
Conduct regular surveillance of the parking lot.
Walking all floors of the property to ensure all storage closets are secured and locked; to ensure all guest room doors are closed and secured.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and protect company property.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of individuals on site.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for record-keeping purposes.
Participate in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential security risks and implementing preventative measures.
Requirements
Be able to approach, make your presence known to loitering or suspicious individuals on property.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations effectively.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential threats or irregularities.
To be able to on your feet and walking throughout most of the scheduled shift.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
