Job Description
Security – Hospital Lead Officer / $17.00 per hour
Requires 1+ Year of Security Experience

As a Hospital Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard a high-profile healthcare customer. Your responsibilities include surveillance of healthcare premises, protecting staff, members, and visitors, detecting and preventing suspicious activity, reporting incidents, and providing professional customer service.
Responsibilities
Observe and remain vigilant for signs of crime, disorder, hazards, and unusual activity
Patrol on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to check for unsafe conditions, security violations, and unauthorized individuals
De-escalate situations verbally and physically as needed
Inspect all security devices and fire safety equipment
Screen members, visitors, and employees to facilitate access
Respond calmly to incidents like fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, and hazardous situations
May include patient escort, providing safety escorts, and assisting with deceased transport to morgue
Minimum Requirements
Experience in customer service, troubleshooting, or managing stressful situations
Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
High school diploma or 5 years of verifiable experience
Background check and drug screening required
State/local licensing requirements may apply
Valid driver’s license for driving roles
Post-offer training and certification in Management of Aggressive Behavior required
