Security Officer – Experience Required Jobs in Olney, IL at Allied Universal
Responsibilities:
– Patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of premises, personnel, and visitors
– Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance equipment to detect and prevent unauthorized activities
– Enforce laws, rules, and regulations to maintain order and protect property
– Respond to alarms and emergency situations, providing assistance and taking appropriate action
– Conduct investigations of incidents, accidents, and suspicious activities
– Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and actions taken
– Provide first aid or emergency medical assistance as needed
– Use conflict management techniques to de-escalate tense situations
Experience:
– Previous experience in law enforcement or security preferred
– Possession of a valid CPR and First Aid certificate
– Knowledge of surveillance techniques and equipment
– Familiarity with loss prevention strategies
– Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
