Wandering in Time Security LLC is a private security division of Wandering In Time Productions, LLC, specifically serving the Oregon Renaissance Faire and the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire. We provide a secure and safe environment that allows employees, volunteers and patrons alike to receive quality services with minimal threats against their personal well-being and property. We are looking for qualified individuals to join the security team of both the Oregon Renaissance Faire, and Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire for the 2025 season.
Locations: On location Oregon Renaissance Faire, Canby, OR
Or Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire, Snohomish, WA.
About the Role:
All Security Guards are responsible for patrolling and monitoring venue grounds and buildings, observing and reporting suspicious or unauthorized activities, and unsafe conditions. They are responsible for access control, emergency responses and notification. Guards will render assistance and security-related services to staff and visitors, investigate and document incidents relative to the venue, and provide necessary liaison between staff and local law enforcement. Individuals must be able to work all shifts. All training provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Unarmed Security Officers shall perform all tasks in accordance with the duties outlined within the post orders. Duties include but are not limited to:
Maintain order and security, while remaining professional, courteous, and respectful.
Arrive on time, completely outfitted, and ready for duty.
Patrol section of the venue assigned to you.
Respond to calls for assistance, as needed.
Provides breaks/relief to security staff
Monitor all entrances and exits.
Provides bag checks
Monitor for suspicious items or activity
Qualifications include:
Must be age 18 or older
Ability to clear a criminal background check
U.S. Citizen
Possess a Security Guard Licence in corresponding state
High School Diploma or GED
Current Drivers License
Shall fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English.
Must be able to lift 50lbs easily
Must be able to stand comfortably for extended periods of time
