Security Officer
Seeking a competent Security Officer in Charlotte NC for roving patrol, surveillance of premises, and protection of property, personnel, and visitors. He or she will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts, or other criminal behavior. The ideal candidate should have a high level of initiative and observation.
Responsibilities
Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
Work with local law enforcement to remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
Provide assistance to people in need
Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
Skills
Proven experience as a security officer or guard
Strong interpersonal skills
Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
Familiarity with report writing
Excellent surveillance and observation skills
Certified as a security officer (desired)
A High School diploma or equivalent is required; some college preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
