Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, including monitoring premises, enforcing rules, and responding to incidents. The Security Officer will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the overall safety of the facility.
Responsibilities
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
Conduct regular inspections of facilities, including surveillance of CCTV systems.
Enforce company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional demeanor.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed during emergencies.
Document incidents and prepare reports on security-related activities.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities.
Manage conflicts effectively using conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
Experience
Candidates should possess relevant experience or certifications in the following areas:
First aid and CPR certification is preferred.
Background in law enforcement or military service is advantageous.
Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
Experience in loss prevention strategies within a retail or corporate environment is a plus.
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
