Security Officer
GSSi, Inc. (Wilmington, CA) is a 4th generation family owned private security company. We are currently seeking a full-time Security Officer for a retail location in the greater LA area. This is not a loss prevention position, this is an OBSERVE AND REPORT position ONLY.
Job Title: Security Officer
Location: Mission Hills, CA
Schedule: Thursday – Tuesday (off Wednesday)
Hours: 3:00pm – 11:00pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 hour
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Maintain presence/observation/surveillance of key areas
– Complete daily report of activity and observations
– Avoid verbal/physical confrontations, OBSERVE AND REPORT ONLY
– Customer Service/Public relations/Greet customers and provide information
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
– Valid BSIS guard card
– Ability to work weekends, holidays, OT
– Reliable transportation to and from the job site
– Ability to walk, stand, sit for extended periods
– Good customer service skills
– Good written/verbal communication skills
