Job Summary
Responsible for securing the complex at the conclusion of the visiting hours.
Conducts a walk-through energy conservation tour of all buildings on evening rounds.
Works under general supervision with work subject to check by the Director and/or the Supervisor.
Has a thorough working knowledge of the principles and procedures of the work involved.
Performs Security rounds during shift.
Assists in controlling patients in the Emergency Department (ED) or other areas as needed.
Education and/or Experience
High school graduate or GED preferred.
Background in security/law enforcement is highly recommended.
Experience in security management preferred ( i.e. law enforcement, private /special event security, fire/rescue service)
Work Schedule
Varied shifts; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Occasional weekend
Occasional holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$19.00 – $23.50 per hour
