We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Technician who has a strong understanding of system architecture, installation, troubleshooting, and technical integrations. This is not a basic installation role—we are looking for a highly skilled professional who can take ownership of projects, problem-solve complex issues, and ensure that security systems operate seamlessly in demanding environments. What You’ll Do
Install, configure, and service Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, Public Address, and Audio-Visual systems for enterprise and healthcare environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical, software, and network-related issues to ensure optimal system performance.
Work with IT teams and security managers to integrate systems into existing infrastructure.
Assist in system design and configuration, ensuring all installed systems meet client specifications and industry standards.
Program and configure access control systems, CCTV platforms, and intrusion detection software.
Maintain detailed documentation of system installations, configurations, and troubleshooting steps.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and industry regulations.
Train end-users and provide technical support post-installation.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications
5+ years of experience in security systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Deep understanding of Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion Detection, Audio-Visual, and Public Address systems.
Experience with network-based security systems, IP configurations, and system integrations.
Associate degree in Electronics, IT, or a related field preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Industry certifications such as Lenel, Genetec, AMAG, Avigilon, NICET, or CCNA (preferred but not required).
Strong ability to work independently, problem-solve, and manage complex installations.
Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or software programming is a plus but not required.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites as needed.
