Position Summary
Responsible for providing protection and security for hospital building and grounds, employees, patients and visitors.
Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Licenses and Certification
IAHSS- Certified Healthcare Security Officer, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)-Certified Instructor, or State of Illinois Basic Security Officer Certification required within 6 months of hiring.
Experience and Skills
Technical Experience: N/A
Lead: 1 year
Role Specific Responsibilities
Tours buildings and grounds.
Prepares daily reports and signs log sheets.
Maintains building security.
Assists with helicopter transfers.
Lead: Assists with scheduling and documentation.
Lead: Assists with training and education of security staff.
Lead: Assists security supervisor with management duties.
Lead: Attend meetings as assigned by Security Manager.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
$17.57 – $26.36
