Job Description:
Embassy Suites by Hilton in Panama City Beach is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Part Time Security Attendant to join our team. As an Security Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests and property during day and nighttime.
Responsibilities:
Patrol the hotel premises during the day and overnight shift to deter and detect any suspicious activity.
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to potential security threats.
Conduct regular inspections of all public areas, including lobbies, corridors, and parking lots, to ensure they are safe and secure.
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, concerns, or emergencies and provide assistance as needed.
Enforce hotel policies and procedures to maintain order and safety on the premises.
Collaborate with other hotel departments, such as front desk and housekeeping, to address security-related issues and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Prepare detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents, accidents, or disturbances that occur during the shift.
Assist with emergency response procedures, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and fire alarms, as necessary.
Conduct routine checks of equipment, such as fire extinguishers and emergency exit signs, to ensure they are in working order.
Stay updated on local safety regulations and security best practices to maintain compliance and enhance security protocols.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in security, or a related field preferred.
Strong attention to detail and observational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Basic knowledge of emergency response procedures and first aid/CPR certification preferred.
Flexibility to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Must be legally eligible to work in Panama City Beach, Florida.
