Job Description
As a Security Officer – Residential Patrol in COLLEGE PARK, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more .
As a Patrol Officer in a residential setting, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling designated areas to help maintain a secure environment. Your presence will help to deter potential security-related incidents while you engage with residents and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires a minimum of one year of security experience and MD-SP Registration-AUS. Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

Responsibilities:
Provide customer service by implementing security procedures and site-specific policies, and engage in emergency response activities when necessary.
Respond to incidents and critical situations with a calm and problem-solving approach.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential area and its perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
Applicants must have at least 1 year of security experience.
Maryland Security Professional Guard Card required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
