The Loss Prevention Officer plays a crucial role in safeguarding the assets of the organization by preventing theft, fraud, and other criminal activities. Duties
Monitor surveillance cameras and security systems to detect suspicious behavior or incidents.
Conduct thorough investigations into theft or fraud cases, documenting findings accurately.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, including evidence collected during investigations.
Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies as needed to address criminal activities.
Maintain a visible presence within the facility to deter potential theft or misconduct.
Qualifications
Proven experience in loss prevention or a related field is preferred.
Strong skills in report writing and documentation of incidents.
Familiarity with surveillance technology and CCTV systems.
Background in law enforcement or criminal investigation is advantageous.
Excellent conflict management skills to handle difficult situations effectively.
Relevant certifications in loss prevention or security are a plus.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
Valid driver’s license is required
Have a clean criminal background
18 years of age or older
High School Diploma or GED
Neat trimmed haircut and clean shaven
Working cell phone and reliable transportation
