SOML Solutions is currently hiring Armed Security Guards to patrol an apartment complex in Houston, TX. Position Overview:
As an Armed Security Guard, you will be responsible for patrolling the apartment complex, ensuring the safety and security of the property, and acting as part of a multi-faceted security approach. You will work alongside a team composed of former law enforcement and military personnel, as well as collaborate with local authorities, district attorney contacts, surrounding businesses, and the tenants themselves to improve the overall safety of the property.
Key Responsibilities:
Patrol assigned apartment complex on foot or by vehicle.
Monitor and observe the premises, ensuring that the property remains secure.
Act as a visible deterrent and respond to any suspicious activities or security incidents.
Maintain open communication with tenants, surrounding businesses, and first responders.
Enforce property rules and regulations, including monitoring access points.
Work as part of a team or independently, depending on the shift.
Respond promptly to emergency situations and liaise with local law enforcement as needed.
Prepare detailed daily reports on incidents, patrol activity, and safety concerns.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Must possess a current Level III or Level IV Armed Security License in Texas.
Previous experience in law enforcement, military, or private security preferred, but not required.
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make sound decisions.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
