Job Overview:
We are currently seeking Unarmed Security Officers to fulfill a newly awarded government contract in Hawaii (positions available in Oahu, Hawaii Island, Maui, and Kauai). We have positions available for all shifts, and we are specifically looking for licensed Unarmed Security Offices.

Responsibilities:
Act in a guard capacity with physical presence and safekeeping.
Maintain laws, rules, and regulations for protection and security.
Provide a safe environment for employees and general public by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment (as applicable); inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; and permitting entry.
Maintain watch in the assigned locations for disturbances by visitors and occupants.
Exercise tact and judgment to prevent or minimize disorder, quell disturbances, and generally maintain law and order.
Assist employees when visitors are observed or reported as being hostile, abusive, or disorderly, or if they appear to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol, mentally or emotionally unstable, in the process of an unlawful or criminal act, and/or armed.
Respond to disturbances, including instigating immediate notification for assistance when law enforcement intervention is necessary.
Prevent the entry of unauthorized person(s) into restricted areas and immediately summon and inform law enforcement immediately upon awareness of possible unlawful or hazardous behavior of an individual.
Prepare activity and incident reports and assist with the recording of all incidents requiring Sheriff and/or Police assistance or intervention.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Complete required trainings and certifications
Possess good judgment, even temperament, tact, and ability to communicate and read simple instructions.
Be in good health, and physically able to perform the duties which include prolonged standing for considerable periods.
Have and maintain active Guard license
