Position Details
Part-Time Security Officer
Midnight Shift (11 PM – 7 AM)
The Toledo Zoo & Aquarium has been educating, inspiring, and providing enjoyment to our community for over 100 years. We are seeking a Part Time Security Officer passionate about learning and providing excellent guest experiences. The security team plays a vital role in safeguarding property, guests, staff, animals, and assets. Responsibilities include monitoring systems, responding to service calls, conducting patrols, and assisting with events.
Duties also involve securing the zoo, overseeing surveillance, and maintaining security records.
This role reports to the Director of Security, with general oversight by the Security Supervisor. It is a non-exempt, part-time position under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
