Security Officer – Midnights Jobs in Dearborn, MI at Allied Universal®
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our visitors and employees.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
– Respond promptly to alarms and investigate disturbances
– Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
– Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain order and safety
– Perform access control duties, including checking identification and verifying credentials
– Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities
– Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
Experience:
– Previous experience in security, preferred
– Possession of a valid Guard Card
– Knowledge of CCTV systems and other security equipment is advantageous
– Familiarity with loss prevention techniques is a plus
– First aid, CPR, and conflict management training are beneficial
Skills:
– Strong surveillance skills with attention to detail
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively
– Proficient in using security equipment and technology
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $16.50 – $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
