Full Job Description
Responsibilities:
– Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
– Protect property and assets by enforcing access control and following established security procedures
– Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify and respond to any suspicious activities or security breaches
– Conduct regular inspections to ensure all safety equipment is in working order
– Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, and alarms, taking appropriate action as necessary
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and addressing concerns
– Complete accurate incident reports and maintain detailed logs of daily activities
Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Proven work experience as a Security Officer or similar role
– Valid First Aid and CPR certification
– Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and security best practices
– Familiarity with surveillance systems, CCTV, and other security equipment
– Strong observation skills with the ability to quickly assess situations
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to handle conflicts and resolve issues calmly and professionally
– Prior experience in law enforcement or military service is a plus
