Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to incidents, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Monitor premises through regular patrols and surveillance systems, including CCTV.
Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, ensuring appropriate action is taken.
Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the facility.
Conduct thorough inspections of the property to identify any potential security breaches or hazards.
Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious behavior and reporting incidents as necessary.
Provide first aid and CPR assistance when required, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for future reference.
Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to ensure a coordinated response to security issues.
Experience
Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with surveillance equipment and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.
Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable; additional training in conflict management or surveillance techniques is a plus.
Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively manage conflicts and maintain professionalism under pressure.
A valid security guard license or certificate may be required based on local regulations.
