Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Private Security Instructor to join our team. As an Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in a dynamic learning environment. Main responsibility will be teaching classes in DC however, you may be utilized in Fredericksburg, VA at the Main Office as needed if available. Pay is based on Experience.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive SPO/SO training classes in Washington, D.C.
Deliver engaging and effective training materials and programs.
Evaluate trainees’ performance and provide constructive feedback.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of security protocols and training methodologies.
Assist with curriculum development and improvement.
Track and compile collected data.
Maintain overall safety and organization of the training environment.
Ensure the safety of students. Communicates and supervises compliance under the direction of the Training Director / Assistant Training Director with company policy, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Ensure accountability for all training equipment.
Participate in training sessions at our Fredericksburg academy when not engaged in D.C.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in DC Security Police Officer (SPO) training.
Proven track record as a professional instructor.
Strong understanding of security protocols and practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to adapt training methods to suit different learning styles.
Willingness to travel to Washington, D.C. regularly.
Flexibility to teach at our Fredericksburg academy as needed.
Relevant certifications in security and training preferred.

Working Conditions
Work is typically based in a busy environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours vary and are based on contract requirements and training schedules.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 100 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday.
