Jungle Boys operates in a high-security environment, prioritizing the safety and security of its employees, facilities, and operations. The Security Manager will be responsible for overseeing security measures at cultivation facilities and retail stores, ensuring compliance with security protocols, and maintaining a safe environment for all employees.
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Rotating weekly schedules: 6:00 am – 3:00 pm (Week 1) and 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (Week 2).
Duties / Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee surveillance systems for cultivation facilities and retail stores.
Review security incidents and provide video footage to management as needed.
Conduct daily security inspections of key areas, including parking lots, employee common areas, and exterior perimeters.
Report major incidents or investigations to the Head of Operations and Head of Cultivation.
Maintain electronic records of all investigations and security incidents.
Ensure strict adherence to company security protocols and visitor policies.
Implement and support company security SOPs, including Diversion and Visitor Plans, recommending updates as necessary.
Respond to and document any unsafe situations or security breaches.
Investigate accidents, thefts, property loss, or any unlawful activities occurring on company property.
Enforce anti-diversion measures to safeguard cannabis products and company assets.
Supervise security procedures for incoming and outgoing deliveries at cultivation and processing facilities.
Foster strong relationships with employees, demonstrating awareness of staff roles and responsibilities.
Maintain professional collaboration with local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.
Oversee and coordinate with after-hours contracted security personnel.
Perform additional security-related duties as needed.
Required Skills / Abilities:
Minimum three years of experience in security operations, including CCTV monitoring.
Proficiency in email, word processing, and internal communication systems.
Strong decision-making skills, capable of acting independently when necessary.
Excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of security operations and safety protocols.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in security technology and data processing tools.
Ability to sit for extended periods while monitoring surveillance systems.
Capability to conduct routine exterior patrols of facilities.
Comfortable handling confrontational situations and security challenges.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex security information effectively.
High level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Ability to multitask while maintaining focus on security priorities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position oversees security operations but does not directly supervise the security department
