We are seeking experienced and highly motivated Armed Security Officers to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their assets. This is a critical role that requires excellent conflict management abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional security services.

Location:
Grocery store in the Richmond area
Responsibilities
– Conduct regular posting of the premises to deter and detect any unauthorized activity
– Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
– Provide de-escalation to promote a safe environment for clients and visitors
– Maintain accurate logs and reports of all security-related activities
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting clients and visitors as needed
– Enforce access control procedures to prevent unauthorized entry
– Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Requirements
– Must possess a valid security officer license or certification
– First Aid, CPR, and AED certification is preferred.
– Strong knowledge of security protocols and procedures through DCJS certification.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
– Proficient in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies.
– Reliable transportation
– Must be able to stand for the entire shift
– Weekends (Friday and Saturday)
