Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This position requires a proactive individual with strong observational skills and the ability to respond effectively to various situations.
Duties
Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
Respond promptly to incidents, or emergencies, providing assistance as needed.
Enforce rules and regulations to prevent unauthorized access or activities.
Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
Manage conflicts with professionalism and de-escalate situations when necessary.
Document daily activities, incidents, and any irregularities in reports.
Requirements
Previous experience in security is preferred
Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must possess a valid security guard license as required by NYS Law
Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
