As a Doorman at our family entertainment center, you will be the initial point of contact for
guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming entrance to the facility. Your friendly and attentive
presence will contribute to creating a positive first impression and setting the tone for a
memorable guest experience. This job description outlines the primary responsibilities and
qualifications required for the position.
Responsibilities:
1. Guest Reception and Greeting:
– Welcome guests with a friendly and approachable demeanor as they arrive at the center.
– Provide a warm and inviting atmosphere from the moment guests step in.
2. Ticketing and Admissions:
– Assist guests with ticket purchases, admissions, and information about available attractions.
– Ensure accurate distribution of tickets, wristbands, or entry passes.
3. Guest Assistance:
– Offer guidance and directions to different attractions, facilities, and amenities within the
center.
– Respond to guest inquiries and provide accurate information.
4. Crowd Control:
– Monitor guest traffic and queues to manage crowd flow during busy periods.
– Implement crowd control measures to ensure a comfortable and safe environment.
5. Safety and Security:
– Maintain awareness of surroundings and guest behavior to identify any potential safety or
security concerns.
– Report any unusual or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.
6. Customer Service:
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest needs and concerns in a courteous
manner.
– Act as a point of contact for resolving guest inquiries and issues.
7. Communication:
– Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless guest service and coordination.
– Communicate effectively with guests, providing information and assistance as needed.
8. Access Control:
– Ensure that only authorized individuals are allowed entry to certain areas or attractions as
per the center’s policies.
9. Event Support:
– Assist in event coordination, setup, and guest assistance during special events and functions.
Qualifications:
– Previous experience as a doorman, greeter, host, or in a customer service role, preferably in a
hospitality, entertainment, or service-oriented setting.
– Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
– Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to creating positive guest experiences.
– Attention to detail and ability to manage guest queues and crowd flow effectively.
– Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a dynamic environment.
– Awareness of safety and security protocols to maintain a safe environment for guests.
– Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by
the operational needs of the family entertainment center.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
