We are looking for a dedicated Security Officer to become a valuable member of our team based atSt James Square.
The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting the client’s staff, assets, and infrastructure. This includes addressing issues related to fire, damage, theft, and health and safety concerns and upholding high standards of health and safety by adhering to company policies, complying with environmental procedures, and actively promoting a safe, sustainable, and well-maintained workplace.
Position:Security Officer
Pay rate:£13.55 per hour

Main Duties:
Act as a point of contact and information centre to staff and visitors
Always conduct yourself in a professional manner
Ensure all instructions, both written and verbal, are adhered to
Guard access points, permitting or refusing entry, restraining trespassers
Conduct foot patrols within defined areas as an effective deterrent in the protection of the client’s property and assets
Investigate and take the appropriate lawful action as authorized by the corporate policy on accidents, incidents, trespassing, suspicious activities, safety, and fire incidents
Must have:
Valid Frontline and/or CCTV SIA license
Proven work experience as a Corporate Security Officer – min 1 year
Excellent customer service andcommunication skills
High level of self-presentation
IT literate – Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
Quick thinking andproblem-solving skills
Apositive attitudeto dealing with people and taking on challenges
5-year checkable work history
