Description: Firing Point is seeking a Badging Services Officer for our military client in Norfolk, VA. The successful candidate will have experience in customer service as well as visitor access/security processes and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide customer service support related to badge issuance to incoming Government and Contractor employees as well as short- and long-term visitors
Greet customers upon entering the office, answer questions, and provide badging services
Produce a variety of physical access badges including CAC Cards, Foreign National Badges, Government and Contractor ID Cards, and Visitor Badges
Manage visitor logs and maintain records of customer clearance and access control
Check customer clearances and verify/process incoming and outgoing visit requests
Ensure accuracy through completion of necessary forms and requests related to new employees and visitor access
Maintain databases of complex and confidential departmental information
Determine badge eligibility for customers and update/maintain badging system
Create a wide variety of documents such as reports, spreadsheets, and presentations requiring expert knowledge of several software programs, often composing the first draft of documents
Respond to requests, distribute correspondence, circulate information, etc. to other staff as needed, including senior staff
Document requirements for the planning and analysis of security procedures for physical information, personnel, or information system security programs
Required Qualifications:
Active DoD Secret Clearance
Strong customer service skills
Valid Virginia driver’s license
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong oral and written communication skills
Education: Associates Degree or Graduate/completion of an approved Federal/State education applicable technical training course (e.g., DoD/Military Security Specialist Training).
Experience: Three (3) years of experience including applicable databases, customer service and security badging principles, practices, and procedures.
