Job Description
As a Security Officer for our Rooftop, you will perform protective, preventative, safety and security related enforcement functions touring facility to ensure the safety and well-being of guests, clients and team members. You will work in a team oriented, high volume, fast paced environment by delivering exceptional service to guests and clients.
Responsibilities include:
Maintains order in the hotel, coordinate responses to emergencies and handle all door lock issues.
Evaluate all security issues and make decisions putting guests and hotels safety first.
Answer all security calls and hotline calls, prioritizes calls and responds in a timely manner.
Knowledge of the hotel layout, location of fire extinguishers, exit routes, and hotel alarm system.
Respond to all fire, safety hazards, life threats, undesired conduct, and policy violations in a calm demeanor ensuring guest and team member safety. Coordinating with police, fire and emergency medical personnel.
Handle all lost and found inquiries, receives and records found property.
Administer CPR and First Aid.
Implements and monitors all security operations in accordance with all applicable laws and company policies in a courteous and restrained manner in coping with emergencies, undesired conduct, disturbances and threats.
Monitoring surveillance systems for intrusion and unauthorized activities
Controlling access of employees and/or visitor and maintaining legible duty and visitor logs
Greet visitors in a friendly and professional manner
Responsible for the daily delivery of products, packages and checks items received against purchase orders.
Job Requirements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in basic computer skills
Ability to quickly learn the layout of the facility, function rooms, and some knowledge of the city and surrounding areas
Must be able to work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays
High School graduate diploma or equivalent preferred.
2 years customer service experience.
Prior hospitality security experience preferred.
Prior law enforcement, security or military experience preferred.
CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.
