Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees. This is a critical role that requires strong surveillance skills, conflict management abilities, and a commitment to enforcing security protocols.
We are hiring both Part-Time and Full-Time positions in Ellenton, FL.
Weekend Availability is a must
Starting pay is $16.00/hr.
The shifts are second and third shift.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of the premises
– Monitor surveillance cameras and report any suspicious activities
– Respond promptly to alarms or incidents and take appropriate action
– Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
– Enforce access control procedures and verify the identity of individuals entering the premises
– Perform routine inspections to identify potential security risks or hazards
– Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
– Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records
– Assist with loss prevention efforts by implementing effective security measures
– Parking viloations
– Mail Deliveries
– Pool Checks
– Unlocking facilities
– Dispatch calls
Experience:
– Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role
– Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally
– Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and regulations
– Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations
– Military or law enforcement background is a plus
