Description
Summary: Monitors and patrols assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests, employees, the company and its property. Promotes outstanding guest relations. Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
Essential Functions
Provide protection for the Casino and all employees, guests and company assets of the Casino
Guard all transfers of monies and tokens on the casino floor as well as the physical transportation of hopper fills, chip fills and credits
Interact with local law enforcement agencies as required
Patrol all areas of the Casino, Hotel and RV Park.
Assist guests with room keys
Respond to reports of guest and/or employee injury or illness
Pin out rooms at direction of Supervisors
Note and report hazardous conditions in hotel
Preserve the scene of criminal activity for investigators and outside agencies
Do table game fills
Transport Markers to Main Cage
Verify Slot Jackpots
Escort Slot Machine initial fills, coin and validator drops
Assist disabled guests with wheelchair escorts
Direct evacuation during emergencies
Escort table games manager into card & die room
Assign keys from Key-Trac system to other associates
Resolve guest complaints and provide positive guest service
Ensure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations
Handle Lost and Found at the casino podium
Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications/Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent. Previous law enforcement, military and/or EMT experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Ability to use commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Enforce Title 31 of Nevada Gaming Control Board.
Operate and maintain certification on Automatic External Defibrillators.
Utilize portable radios for communication using 400 and 10- codes.
Be knowledgeable in various areas of law.
Must be at least 21 years of age

Jog or run on occasional basis.

Occasionally drive motor vehicles.
Work for sustained periods of time maintaining concentrated attention to detail.
Use tools or equipment requiring a high degree of dexterity 50% of the time.
Vision, hearing, speaking and literacy (critical).
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Working indoors or outdoors in a noisy, smoky, dusty environment that is either hot or cold.
