Job Title: Unarmed Security Officer
Department: Security
Location: Luxury Residential Property
Reports to: Security Manager or Property Manager
Job Purpose:
To ensure the safety and security of residents, guests, and property at a luxury residential community. This includes maintaining a secure environment, responding to incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to residents and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Security Operations:**
– Conduct regular patrols of the property to deter and detect any security threats or safety hazards.
– Monitor security cameras and surveillance systems.
– Control access to the property, ensuring that only authorized individuals are permitted entry.
– Check identification and credentials of visitors and contractors.
2. **Emergency Response:**
– Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations.
– Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services as needed.
– Provide first aid and CPR in emergencies, if certified.
3. **Incident Reporting:**
– Document and report all incidents, suspicious activities, and security breaches to the Security Manager.
– Maintain detailed logs and records of daily activities.
4. **Customer Service:**
– Greet residents, guests, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
– Assist residents and guests with directions, information, and other needs.
– Address and resolve any security-related concerns or complaints from residents.
5. **Safety Inspections:**
– Perform regular safety inspections of the property, including common areas, parking lots, and entrances.
– Identify and report maintenance issues or potential safety hazards.
6. **Policy Enforcement:**
– Enforce property rules and regulations to ensure a safe and peaceful living environment.
– Ensure compliance with all security and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– 3 years Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
– Excellent observational and communication skills.
– Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
– Strong customer service skills.
– Basic knowledge of security systems and emergency procedures.
– CPR and first aid certification is a plus.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
– Ability to stand, walk, and patrol the property for extended periods.
– Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
– Good vision and hearing for monitoring surveillance equipment and responding to incidents.
– Luxury residential property with various amenities and common areas.
– Indoor and outdoor patrols in all weather conditions.
– Interaction with residents, guests, and property management staff.
